GoHighLevel pricing, explained in plain English

HighLevel has three published plans: Starter at $97/month, Unlimited at $297/month and Agency Pro at $497/month. Paying yearly saves money. Every plan includes the core tools and a free trial (14 days, or 30 via HighLevel’s Bootcamp page), but texting, calls, email sending and some AI features are billed on top as you use them.

What are the HighLevel plans and prices?

HighLevel’s pricing page lists three self-serve plans plus a custom Enterprise option. The main difference between them isn’t the features. It’s how many sub-accounts you get and what you can do with billing for clients. A sub-account is one separate business workspace inside HighLevel, so if you run one business, you only need one.

Unlimited$297/month$2,970/yearUnlimited

All plans list unlimited contacts, unlimited users, 24/7 support and the core feature set. Phone, SMS, email and some AI features are billed on top as you use them.

How much do you save by paying yearly?

Annual billing works out to 2 months free on the Starter plan, and similar savings on the others. Here’s the math, using only the published prices:

Monthly total is the monthly price × 12. Source: HighLevel pricing page · last verified Oct 20, 2026
Plan12 × monthlyAnnual priceDifference
Starter$1,164$970/year$194
Unlimited$3,564$2,970/year$594
Agency Pro$5,964$4,970/year$994

My advice for beginners: don’t pay yearly until you’ve used the tool for a while. A full year is a lot to commit to software you’re still figuring out.

What costs extra on top of the plan?

This is the part that surprises people. The plan price covers the software, but sending messages costs money, just like it would with any texting or email service. HighLevel calls these usage-based charges. The ones with published rates:

Source: HighLevel pricing guide · last verified Oct 20, 2026
UsagePublished rateWhat it means
Email sending (LC Email)$0.675 per 1,000 emailsSending 10,000 emails costs about $6.75.
Email validation$2.50 per 1,000 validationsOptional check that addresses are real before you send.
Premium workflow actions$0.01 per executionOnly certain advanced automation steps; most workflow steps don’t carry this fee.
Phone calls and SMS (LC Phone)Varies by countryLC Phone priced same as Twilio; varies by region. I haven’t verified exact per-text rates yet, so I don’t list them.

AI features can also be pay-as-you-go: HighLevel’s guide describes pay-per-use AI as having no monthly fee; billed at token cost. If you would rather have a flat fee, the AI Employee add-on below bundles it.

What add-ons might I be offered?

None of these are required to get started. Most people should ignore them until they know they need one. Most are charged per sub-account, so the cost multiplies if you run several businesses or clients.

One add-on is free: the Ad Manager is listed at $0 (verified Oct 20, 2026) for agencies, though the ad spend itself is paid to the ad platforms. HighLevel also sells a one-time advanced account setup service at $1,000 (verified Oct 20, 2026).

Which plan should I pick if I’m just starting out?

Is there a longer free trial?

If you sign up through HighLevel’s Bootcamp page, HighLevel currently gives you a 30-day free trial instead of the 14 days shown on its standard pricing page, plus a seat in a free live Bootcamp: a click-by-click Zoom class with the HighLevel team, held every weekday at 11 a.m. Central Time, 60 minutes at most, with smaller breakout rooms so you set things up as you go.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes. According to the pricing page, upgrading mid-month charges the prorated difference, and downgrading is allowed. That makes starting small low-risk: you can move up when you outgrow Starter. Unlimited mainly adds unlimited sub-accounts, rebill phone & email (no markup), basic api access, so most solo users with one business never need to upgrade.
