Does GoHighLevel have a free trial?

Yes. HighLevel’s standard pricing page shows a 14-day free trial on every plan, and its Bootcamp sign-up page offers 30 days plus a free live setup class. There is no free plan. Starter costs $97/month after the trial unless you cancel, and communication surcharges for texts, calls and emails may apply during it.

How long is the GoHighLevel free trial?

It depends on where you sign up. HighLevel’s standard pricing page shows 14 days on each self-serve plan. HighLevel’s Bootcamp page offers 30 days, paired with a free live setup class (details below). Here’s the trial next to the price you’ll pay afterward:

What should I watch out for during the trial?

  • Automatic billing. HighLevel says billing starts automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel. Put a reminder in your calendar two days before your trial ends (day 12 on the standard trial, day 28 on the Bootcamp trial).
  • Communication surcharges still count. HighLevel says these may apply during the trial: if you buy a phone number and send texts or emails while testing, you can be charged for that usage even though the subscription is free. Email, for example, is $0.675 per 1,000 emails (verified Oct 20, 2026).
  • Texting in the US needs registration. Business texting to US numbers requires A2P 10DLC registration with the carriers, which can take time. Don’t plan your trial around sending texts on day one.
  • Pick the plan you’d really buy. Trialing Agency Pro “just to see everything” makes the jump to paying for it feel natural. If you’d realistically buy Starter, trial Starter.

Which trial should a beginner pick, 14 or 30 days?

If you sign up through HighLevel’s Bootcamp page, HighLevel currently gives you a 30-day free trial instead of the 14 days shown on its standard pricing page, plus a seat in a free live Bootcamp: a click-by-click Zoom class with the HighLevel team, held every weekday at 11 a.m. Central Time, 60 minutes at most, with smaller breakout rooms so you set things up as you go.

For most beginners, I’d pick the Bootcamp route. The extra time helps, and a live class where someone sets things up alongside you deals directly with the “where do I even start?” problem. The catch is that the class is live and not recorded, so you have to block out a full hour on a weekday.

How do I get the most out of the trial?

The most common beginner mistake is clicking through every menu hoping it will make sense. HighLevel does too much to explore that way. Pick one job you want it to do and set that up from start to finish:

  1. Days 1–2: Book the free kickoff call HighLevel offers trial users and get your business details, logo and time zone in place.
  2. Days 3–5: Import a small list of contacts and set up one booking calendar.
  3. Days 6–9: Build one simple form or page that adds new leads to your CRM.
  4. Days 10–12: Add one automation, such as a confirmation email when someone books.
  5. Days 13–14: Decide (or, on the 30-day trial, keep building and decide by day 28). Did it work? Could you see yourself running this every day?

The beginner’s guide walks through this in more detail.

What if I decide HighLevel isn’t for me?

Cancel before the trial ends. If you liked the idea but not the complexity, simpler single-purpose tools may fit you better. My comparisons hub explains the main alternatives fairly. Not everyone needs an all-in-one platform, and that’s fine.

Is the trial on every plan the same?

On the standard pricing page, the length is the same: the 14-day trial shows on each plan card. What differs is what you can test. On Starter you can create up to 3 sub-accounts. Agency features such as SaaS mode only show up on Agency Pro. Enterprise isn’t self-serve, so it isn’t part of the trial offer.

Frequently asked questions

Does GoHighLevel have a free plan?

No free plan is listed on HighLevel's pricing page. What it offers instead is a free trial: 14 days on the standard pricing page, or 30 days through HighLevel's Bootcamp sign-up page.

Why do some places say 30 days and others 14?

Both come from HighLevel. The standard pricing page shows a 14-day trial on each plan. HighLevel's Bootcamp page offers a 30-day free trial together with a free live Bootcamp class.

Do I need a credit card for the free trial?

Expect to enter payment details when you start, because billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel. Check the sign-up screen for the current terms.

Is the trial really free?

The subscription is free during the trial, but HighLevel notes that communication surcharges, such as the texts, calls and emails you send, may still apply during the trial.

Can I use GoHighLevel for free long term?

Not on any plan listed on the pricing page. After the trial, you pay for a plan or cancel.

Is the GoHighLevel free trial worth it?

Yes, if you go in with a plan. Even 14 days is enough to set up one real use case and judge whether the interface works for you; the 30-day Bootcamp trial gives you more breathing room.
